Here are three ways to find a certain person's message in a folder in OE.
1. If you have your messages sorted by the from field, you can just type in the first letter of the name that you are looking for and it will place you on the first message from that person. For example, Bob Jones, you would type in B.
2. While in the folder, you can do a shift f3. You will be in a find dialog, type in the name you are looking for and hit enter. It will place you on that message in your message list. By the way, this is very useful if you are trying to find a message about a particular topic.
3. You can do a control shift F. You will be in the find message dialog. The name of the folder you were in will be selected, tab to the from field and type in the name you are looking for and hit enter. It will return a list view of the messages that meet that criteria. Press enter on the message to read it. Using this method takes you out of your message list until you leave the find dialog. It is very useful for doing more complex searches though as you can specify any or all folders and search for information in many different ways.
