Yahoo Pops allows you to download emails from Yahoo's website into your email client.

1. Select Tools -> Email accounts from the main menu
2. Select Add a new email account and click on Next
3. on the general tab type in mail.yahoo.com then fill in all of the other fields provided.
4. on the servers tab Enter as the In coming mail server 127.0.0.1
5. Enter as the Outgoing mail server 127.0.0.1
6. fill in the user name and password.
7. the three check boxes should be as follows: checked unchecked checked.
8. under settings the check box should be 1 of 2.
9. select the Advanced tab
10. Increase the Server Timeout to 'Long' (5 minutes) or 100%
11. click apply and then OK.
YPOPs! and Outlook 2000

1. Select Tools -> Accounts from the main menu
2. Select Add -> Mail
3. Enter your display name
4. Enter your Yahoo! email address
5. Select POP3 as the Server Type
6. Enter 127.0.0.1 as your Incoming mail server
7. Enter 127.0.0.1 as your Outgoing mail server
8. Enter your Yahoo! Login id and password under 'Internet Mail Logon'
9. Check "Remember Password"
10. Select the method you use for connecting to the Internet
11. Click Finish
12. Select your new 127.0.0.1 account and click on "Properties"
13. Select the Advanced tab
14. Increase the Server Timeout to 'Long' (5 minutes)
15. Click OK to close the Properties dialog
