Run Spyware Blaster and press control shift H for the list of available
functions. Enter on an item in the listbox to choose the function to perform
The functions include:
Manually enable Internet Explorer Protection This function would take you to
a dialog where you could check two checkboxes, one for Prevent the installation
of ActiveX-based spyware, dialers, etc. and another checkbox for Prevent
spyware/tracking cookies. Then you would tab and press the space bar on protect
against checked items. All items are checked by default.
Manually enable Restricted Sites Protection This function would take you to a
dialog where you could check a checkbox to Restrict the actions of
spyware/ad/tracking sites in Internet Explorer. Then you would tab and press the
space bar on protect against checked items. All items are checked by default.
Enable All Protection This function will perform all of the above actions
automatically for you.
Disable All Protection This function will disable all of the above
protection.
Check for definition updates This will allow you to download the latest
definition files for spyware blaster. I recommend you then choose to enable all
protection after an update to enable protection against new threats.
exit Spyware Blaster This will exit spyware blaster. Spyware Blaster does not
need to be minimized or running in your system tray to work. Basically to use
spyware blaster all you need to do is run the program, press control shift H and
enter on enable all protection. Spyware Blaster makes the necessary entries to
your system. Just be sure to check for updates frequently.
You can press control shift H at anytime to be returned to the list of
available functions.
