File Recurring Alarm You may want to set an alarm for a recurring event, such as a daily or weekly meeting. Using the recurring alarm feature allows you to set up the frequency, duration, date, and time of an alarm, so you donžt have to manually enter the alarm information each time you want the alarm to display. To set up a recurring alarm, 1.Choose Alarm from the New menu, and click the Recurring >>button. This expands the New Alarm dialog. 2.Enter the ending date of the recurring alarm, or use the calendar icon to quickly choose the ending date. This is the date after which a recurring alarm will no longer be scheduled. The alarm will be deleted or marked as occurred after the last alarm that is able to be scheduled prior to this date is displayed. (Whether it is deleted or marked as occurred is dependent on the auto delete past alarms option.) 3.Alarms will continue to be scheduled until the selected end date. Clicking the check box labeled Never allows your alarm to be rescheduled indefinitely. As you may have noticed, when you mark Never, the ending date field is dimmed, and you cannot make changes to the ending date. 4.Mark the appropriate radio button to choose the frequency of the alarm. Note that you can use the Daily frequency for any time period less than a week. If you choose Daily, use the up and down arrows at the end of the field in the Daily section of the New Recurring Alarm dialog to select the number of days between alarms. For example, if you have a meeting every day at the same time, set the Every field to 1. If you set an alarm to remind yourself to water your plants every four days, set the Every field to 4.
